The Luxe Hire Shipping Policy

 

My Delivery Date

We ask you to chose the date that you would like us to actually post the dress to you.

 

How long will delivery take

We post using Australia Post - and only send using their Express Post service.

To most locations around Australia this takes 1-2 days.

If you live in a rural location within your state, Far North Queensland or Western Australia - postage can take 3-4 days.

Please check the Australia Post Delivery Guide to make sure you select the correct postage date.

 

Number of days hire ( 4 days / 7 days)

If you live in a location that will take 3-4 days to receive your parcel than you will need to select a 7 day hire option when selecting your dress :)


What if l and ordering last minute ?

If you live in Metro Melbourne - you can select the pick up/drop off option - as we are based in South Frankston

If you live interstate - please note that orders placed prior to 2pm AEST Monday - Thursday will be posted that day.

We recommend that if you are placing your order prior to 2pm AEST on the Thursday - that you email hello@theluxehire.com.au and let us know that the order is coming through.


Tracking Number.

Your order when posted will be assigned a tracking number - this number will be uploaded to your order on the day that your order is posted. Please check your order for the tracking number - as this way you can follow your parcel as it makes it way to you.

 

Do I have to sign when my order is delivered?

All new season dresses and Designer luxury pieces are sent out sign on delivery.

All other dresses - signature on delivery is not required. If you are not home Australia Post will leave in a safe place at your home. If they cannot find a safe place they will take the dress to the closest Post Office for collection.

 

What happens if the dress does not arrive on time?

If your dress is delayed by Australia Post - than we will provide you with a credit note ( less postage and handling fee ) once the dress is safely returned to us.

You must notify us of the delay as soon as you are aware by emailing hello@theluxehire.com.au

 

Returning my dress after hire?

Included with your dress is a pre paid Express Post bag that had already been addressed.

Please place the dress back in the bag - and return it to us. ( if you have damaged or marked the dress - please pop a note inside with the dress )

You MUST lodge the dress OVER THE COUNTER at Australia Post - when your hire period finishes and keep a copy of the lodgement receipt. At this point you are no longer responsible for the dress.

Please note - that if you wore the dress on a Friday or Saturday - you can post it back to us on Monday morning when the Post Office opens.

 

Please do not place the dress into an Australia Post letterbox.
